Lowery Group Featured in Denver Real Producers Magazine

When Denver Real Producers Magazine reached out to feature Joe and me in their August issue, I was honestly a little emotional. This industry moves fast, and it's rare to get the chance to actually sit back and reflect on how far we've come.

The writer, Chris Menezes, spent real time understanding what makes our business different, and I think the piece captured it better than I could have written it myself:

"Ashley and Joe Lowery operate in a space most agents don't. As the owners of Lowery Group Real Estate, the independent brokerage they launched in 2023, they don't just represent buyers and sellers, they design, renovate, and resell luxury homes themselves, bringing a firsthand understanding of what actually drives value."

That's really the heart of it. I got my license back in 2012, while I was still in college, and I've spent every year since learning what actually creates value in a home, not just what looks good in photos. Joe brings a completely different perspective. Ten years in the fire service taught him a level of discipline and calm under pressure that shows up in how he manages every renovation project we take on.

2023 was the year everything came together. Joe stepped away from firefighting to join me full-time as Director of Operations and Project Manager for our renovation work. It wasn't an easy transition, and it came with a real test almost right away:

"As they worked on their first flip, fraudulent contractors walked off the job leaving behind work that had to be redone almost entirely. What felt like a setback became a turning point. They changed how they operated, learning how to better vet contractors, control materials, and negotiate deposits."

I won't pretend that wasn't a hard lesson. But it's exactly what shaped how disciplined we are now about vetting contractors, controlling materials, and protecting our clients from the same mistakes. One of our recent renovations in Belcaro sold for $2,575,000, above asking, with multiple offers in the first weekend on the market. That result doesn't happen without the systems we built after that first hard lesson.

I'm proud of this feature, not because of the recognition itself, but because it's an honest reflection of what Joe and I actually do every day for our clients.
